Mother Nature's Schedule
While working with concrete, we are always subject to delays caused by the weather, which at best is unpredictable here in Colorado! We do our very best to schedule gaps in all our project schedules to accommodate the periodic rainy day so that we can meet every client’s expectations. On occasion, however, projects may have to be pushed back a day or two if we are delayed by the weather. When we reschedule, we always confirm with our client and make sure it is convenient for everyone.
Change Orders
Our estimates are based on a variety of factors, including the amount and delivery time for materials, our labor costs, pump or other contractor costs, etc. Every change that is made to the original contract will require a change order. To make sure you approve of any changes and that we have accurately recorded your requested change, we cannot perform any work that is outside the scope of the original estimate until you have reviewed and signed the change order. All changes to the original scope of work must be approved by the Salesperson. No changes may be approved by the Superintendent or Foreman.
Clean-up
After the project is complete, we will pressure wash your house, the surrounding areas, and any other areas that were dirtied by the installation of your job. We will also haul away all building materials, garbage and concrete, and any equipment will be cleaned. We also have a window cleaning service that we can recommend, or if you prefer, we can include that as part of our bid and clean affected windows following installation.
What's In It For You?
On almost every job there will be a small amount of work to be performed by the customer. Usually, this work is "finish" work around the patio. Customer work may include things such as touch-up painting, caulking, landscape adjustment, and minor clean-up. In most cases The Outdoor Living Company can provide these services at a reasonable rate.
Warranty
The Outdoor Living Company offers a standard one year warranty on all concrete structures. We will always provide our warranty information at the start of your project.
